Here is my take on PTI's blog hop, although with family it town I didn't make the post in time. I paired On Ice skates on top of a large present, all decorating the cover of a holiday notebook. Enjoy.

Make it Monday #36

I chose to use the tree image and sentiment from PTI Through the Trees set. I like the softer look you get when you run over the inked image with the water pen and create a little blending. Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Boy #2

Thought I would share a card I made for my great-nephew who is turning 2. The silhouette was cut with my Cricut using A Childs Year cartridge. The mat stack, happy birthday sentiments and #2 all from PTI. Background paper is from my stash so not sure who gets credit for that, although it made my card turn out great. Just love the boy holding the candle. Thanks for visiting.

September Blog Hop

This is my take on this months blog hop. Love to use the half n half dies to add style and ground the patterns plus allowing a great canvas for sentiments. Enjoy.

Flower Fusion

I followed Melissa Bickford's technique of die cutting several flowers in assorted colors, stamping the coresponding flower designs, stamping the stems in various positions and assembling the cards. It helps that I had this gorgeous background paper to show off the main images.  Thanks for visiting my blog.

Make it Monday #31

For this project I used PTI Friendship Jar Fall Filler web and spider to create my background, along with a couple spritzs of some self mixed glimmer mist. I don't remember what color ink I used other than it has some gold perfect pearl powder in it that you can see better in the second photo. The main image uses the stem and pumpkin combination stamped on a die cut spiral notebook page, colored with copic markers and a little glitter gel pen on the top of the pumpkins. Enjoy.

Masculine Cards

Here is a nice little trio of masculine cards. All of the background papers are from a package in the dollar bins at Target. I just mixed and matched, added a kraft or white strip, a cupcake and a sentiment. Enjoy.
